Take some of the stress away by thinking about tryouts in a positive way…as an opportunity to play more soccer with friends, or as a way to show off your best skills.
Expect success. Research has shown that a positive mindset improves performance.
Know that every PSU coach wants you to succeed. Ask them questions and engage with them – they’re there to help!
Leave your mistakes behind. Everyone makes mistakes during tryouts. The quicker you focus on the next activity, the better you’ll do.
