Coaching, Training, & Environment
Build a Rock-solid Foundation
Our Academy program provides players from 7 years old (8U) to 9 years old (10U) with high-level instruction on the fundamental skills and tactics players need to be successful throughout their soccer careers.
Every Academy player is surrounded by three levels of support to help them establish a passion for the game, fundamental soccer skills, and character aspects that help them overcome adversity.
Engagement and enjoyment is emphasized throughout our Academy program, ensuring players receive a great balance of expert instruction and competition, while also allowing them to explore and enjoy the game in ways they find compelling.
Our Academy Program is led by professional, licensed coaching staff who have completed our Coaching Excellence Fundamentals and Advanced Coaching Excellence courses. These courses provide our coaches with more than 40 hours of innovative, top-tier soccer training along with tools and methodologies that ensure our Player-first Philosophy resonates across all aspects of instruction. In this way, every Academy coach brings a mastery of game fundamentals, training methodologies, and tactics, along with the tools and education needed to mentor, motivate, and encourage players, effectively. Altogether, this approach creates a positive, team-oriented environment that supports both individual and team success.
Academy play is more competitive than recreational play and players are encouraged to participate in our Player Excellence program. Teams are split by gender and participate in the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association Youth Academy league, traditionally playing 8 games in both the fall and spring seasons.* Tournament play is encouraged, but not required, and is determined on a team-by-team basis.
