Fall Player Excellence Program

Player Excellence: A Program Designed Around the Individual Player and Their Needs

In the last five weeks we have enjoyed working and getting to know the Fall Player Excellence participants at a deeper level. Our goal week in and week out has been to help players improve their individual skills in a fun and challenging environment. Players got a lot of touches in tight spaces and built friendships every time they showed up.

This is the last week for our Fall Player Excellence program. We are excited to have one more session with the players for one more opportunity to dive a little more deeply in developing their individual skills. This week we will focus heavily on their technical skills for the first 45 mins, and we will let them play in a World Cup Tournament for the last 45 mins. Parents are welcome to sit on the sideline from 5:45-6:30 pm.

We are excited to soon announce the dates for our Winter Player Excellence season. Stay tuned for more info!

7U/8U Games Moving to Armory Park

Planning on enjoying a 7/8U game in the future? To allow for safer distancing, all 7/8U games have moved to Armory park for for the remainder of the season beginning Saturday, September 26. Games previously scheduled on PSC 10 will now be on AP10, and those previously scheduled on PSC 9 will now be on AP4.

A New Twist On Street Soccer

Our Street Soccer Program provides players from 9U to 15U (and parents) with the opportunity to simply have fun playing the game. This fall PSU coaches and the I-Mentor program players will join each week to help coach. With the added help the program will be able to further each player’s soccer skills.

Games are played with small teams to increase interaction, teams are created on the day of the event to promote diversity, and games are played without referees to reinforce positive conflict resolution techniques.

In this way, players develop their technical and tactical awareness and learn to solve soccer related problems.

Street Soccer will still be FREE! It will run from 5:00-6:30 at the Pewaukee Sports Complex. Please don’t forget your cleats, shin guards, and socks!

Fall Player Excellence Registration Open Through September 6

Our Player Excellence Program was inspired by the belief that empowered, well-rounded individuals are advantaged on the soccer field and in life. Our next-level training is open to all our 9U-15U full year athletes and allows each player to improve their skills outside of team activities.

This fall, training will run September 8 – October 16 and includes our signature Street Soccer, Skilz Performance Training, Goalkeeping. To participate, sign up for all six weeks of Goalkeeping and/or Skilz Performance. No sign up required for Friday Street Soccer–just come out and play!
