Fall 2022
Player Excellence

The opportunity to participate in our fall Player Excellence program is open to all current PSU players. In addition to team training, players can register for our Wednesday night Dutch, Ball Mastery, and Goalkeeper trainings. With this approach, we believe we provide our players the best possible experience to learn the game and maximize their growth. Expand the training you’re interested in below to learn more. To sign up, simply click the Sign Up button to register through Demosphere. Please remember that fall and spring Player Excellence is now a paid service. All trainings are designed and run by our highly experienced and licensed coaches.

Registration closes September 12 at 11:59pm.

For any questions, please contact Erin at egudeyon@pewaukeesussexunited.com.

Dutch is the ultimate game to develop our players’ passion, skill, and character. Think Street Soccer with a running scoreboard! Dutch allows our players to interact with friends and teammates, develop their own personality, and express themselves without worrying about what coaches might say. It uses the power of soccer to reinforce the character development already taking place in our programs and promotes our belief that kids should be able to manage themselves with the freedom to take ownership in their development. The program gives players the opportunity to create their own teams, make their own calls, solve soccer related conflicts, and subconsciously develop their technical and tactical awareness.

Please note that Dutch requires a minimum of 8 participants per age level to run.

At Pewaukee Sussex United, we believe in empowering our players to achieve lifelong success through the game of soccer. Our goalkeeping philosophy is no different. Our 9U-19U goalkeepers, like outfield players, will enjoy the same specific training encapsulating key elements of any good program including technical, tactical, physical, psychological, and social. With our younger groups, we will provide a fun, safe environment where improvement of goalkeeping techniques is emphasized. For our older age groups, we will rely more on our cognitive ability and soccer IQ in decision making and other aspects of the mental game.

street soccer

In our Street Soccer program, players have the opportunity to create their own teams, make their own calls, and unconsciously develop their technical and tactical awareness–all while expressing themselves with the ball at their feet. We believe players should be able to manage themselves and have the freedom to play, interact, problem-solve, innovate, and take ownership of their participation in the game. Teams are created the day of to promote diversity, and games are played without referees to reinforce positive conflict resolution techniques. Our I-Mentor coaches will supervise each field making sure that players and facilities are safe while maintaining a fun and challenging environment.

PSU’s Street Soccer is open to all 9U to 19U players. Our Old School Street Soccer is open to any parent, soccer coach, and their significant others. Bring the whole family!
